Sivers IMA AB has broaden its portfolio of FMCW products, by adding 5 and 24 GHz versions to the existing 10 GHz version. The FMCW family now consists of following products
RS3400S/00 FMCW 5 GHz
RS3400X/00 FMCW 10 GHz
RS3400K/00 FMCW 24 GHz
All products are fully synthesized and have low power consumption and a wideband sweep for high accuracy.
A complete kit for easy evaluation and control of the unit from a PC is available
Typical application are level gauge measurement, collision avoidance in industrial applications, speed measurement, surveillance etc.
New Employment
Sivers IMA has been reinforced on the development side by the employment of Dr. Martin Norling. Martin will be working with the development of new VCOs among other things. Martin comes from Chalmers University of Technology, where he recently completed his Ph.D. Martins main focus in his research work has been novel types of resonators for applications in VCOs.
This further enhances Sivers IMA strong connection between Chalmers University of Technology and the Gigahertz Center.
